VICENTE C. DINGLASAN, JR. JUDGE

A leading authority in the field of supply chain management and an active proponent of Efficient Consumer Response(ECR), Jess currently serves as the President of IDS Philippines, a Li and Fung logistics company whose clients include Unilever, Philip Morris, Kraft, and Avon among others. Jess´ wealth of sales and marketing experience was accumulated from his stellar career, holding top positions in blue-chip companies like Purefoods Corporation, General Foods Philippines, Pfizer Laboratories Philippines, Zuellig Pharma Corporation, and Marsman & Co, Inc.Jess has served at the helm of four industry associations namely: Philippine Marketing Association (PMA), Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA), Philippine Board of Advertising (AdBoard) and Marketing Executives of the Pharmaceutical Industry (MEPI). Jess won the Agora Award for Marketing Management while he was working as a General Marketing Manager for Detergents in Unilever Philippines, where he has spent most of his marketing career that included international stints in Spain and Nigeria. Jess holds an AB (Journalism major) degree magna cum laude from San Beda College and a Master in Business Economics degree from the University of Asia and the Pacific. In 2001, Jess was named as one of the outstanding alumni of San Beda College in its first 100 years (1901-2001) in the Philippines. Jess was a member of the Master in Business Management (MBM) faculty of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) for several years and has also lectured in some of the best schools in the country like University of Santo Tomas Graduate School of Business, and De La Salle University. Currently, Jess is a faculty of the University of Asia and the Pacific´s Strategic Business Economics Program (SBEP), a post-MBA degree course for senior executives.


JOHNLU KOA JUDGE

Johnlu Koa is the proud founder and CEO of The French Baker Inc, a chain of bakeshops that offers world-class pastries and delicacies at affordable prices. In 1994, The French Baker, through the leadership of Johnlu, received the AGORA Award for “Marketing Company of the Year”.Mr. Koa is actively promoting entrepreneurship in our country today, as evidenced by his appearance as resource speaker and advisor to public and private initiatives on entrepreneurial development. Mr. Koa also serves in the Board of Trustees of the U.P. Business Research Foundation. As a testament to his leadership skills and business acumen, Mr. Koa has received several awards, the most notable of which include the Ten Outstanding Young Filipinos for Entrepreneurship (1996), UP Alumni Association´s Professional Award in the Field of Entrepreneurship (1996), and UP´s Most Distinguished Alumnus Award (2002). Mr. Koa received his Business Administration Degree in 1979 and MBA in 1984, both from University of the Philippines (U.P.) Diliman where he also taught from 1980 to 1995.


EDUARDO ROBERTO, PH.D. JUDGE

The widely acknowledged marketing research guru of Asia, Dr. Ned Roberto was the Coca-Cola Foundation Professor in International Marketing at the Asian Institute of Management. He has also taught at the Northwestern University´s Kellogg Graduate School of Management Chicago Campus and at the Euro-Asia Centre of INSEAD Macau and Singapore programs.He is also a Fellow and Board Member of the Social Weather Stations, the country´s largest and leading social survey and political polling institution. Dr. Ned was the recipient of the Philippine Marketing Association AGORA Award for Achievement in Marketing Education in 1983, and the Association of Marketing Educators of the Philippines´ 1st Lifetime Achievement Award as Marketing Educator in 2004. Currently, Dr. Ned is the chairman and president of Roberto & Associates, Inc.(RAI), a marketing research and consulting agency, and sits on the board of directors of some other organizations. Before setting up RAI in 1982, he held top positions in Consumer Pulse Inc. (now known as AC Nielsen); Media Pulse, Inc., and International Council for the Management of Population Programmes (ICOMP). Dr. Roberto has done extensive consultancy work region-wide for market research, planning, and product management to practically all the leading multinational corporations in the consumer goods, pharmaceutical, advertising, and other industries. He has consulted overseas for several major multinational corporations in Asia has also been involved in social marketing planning and research, working with international organizations such as the World Bank and the United Nations. Dr. Roberto has authored nine highly-acclaimed books, with classics such as User-Friendly Marketing Research, Social Marketing (co-authored with Philip Kotler); and Strategic Market Segmentation. Dr. Roberto received his Doctor of Philosophy in Marketing and a Master in Business Administration from The Kellogg Management School of Northwestern University (1973).
